SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team swept Oklahoma Baptist 3-0 (25-20, 25-10, 29-27) Saturday in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
The Lady Bisons improve to 16-7 overall and 10-1 in the GAC. After a Southwestern Oklahoma loss Saturday to Ouachita Baptist, Harding is in sole possession of first place in the GAC standings. The Lady Bisons have already sealed their spot in the GAC Tournament in Hot Springs, Arkansas Nov. 8-10.
Southern Nazarene falls to 13-13 overall and 5-5 in the GAC.
The Lady Bisons improve its home record to 7-0.
FIRST SET
Trailing 15-13, Harding went on an 8-3 run to lead 21-18. The Lady Bisons went on to win the set 25-20. Harding had 15 kills in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding jumped out to a 12-3 lead in the second set and didn't look back as the Lady Bisons won 25-10. Harding had zero attack errors and held Oklahoma Baptist to hitting .047.
THIRD SET
Trailing 18-15 in the third set, Harding went on a 3-0 run to tie the set at 18. Down by two, 22-20, Harding went on a 3-0 run to lead 23-22. Each team had two set points before Harding put the set away on a 3-0 run to win 29-27. Harding had 22 kills and hit .368 in the set. Oklahoma Baptist had 21 kills.

- Zoe Hardin led Harding with 14 kills and three blocks.
- Emily Clayton had 10 kills.
- Rachel Heussner captured a double-double with 38 assists and 10 digs.
- Madison Poen led the defense with 19 digs. Taylor Lake had 16 digs and Taylor Eubank had 15.
- Cooper Monn led Harding at the net with five blocks.
- Harding hit .344 in the match and only had five attack errors in 131 attempts.
Oklahoma Baptist
- Taylor Williams had 11 kills to lead Oklahoma Baptist.
- Kelsi Chavez led the defense with 19 digs.
