MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team swept Southern Arkansas 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-21) Tuesday in Great American Conference action.
The Lady Bisons improve to 19-7 overall and 12-1 in the GAC. The Lady Bisons remain in first place in the GAC standings. Harding has already sealed a spot in the GAC Tournament November 8-10 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Southern Arkansas falls to 8-18 overall and 2-11 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding took a 14-8 lead in the first and then went on a 9-0 run to lead 23-8. Two kills by Emily Clayton gave the Lady Bisons the set, 25-10. Harding had 11 kills and hit .381. The Lady Bisons held Southern Arkansas to hitting -.172 in the set with 10 attack errors.
SECOND SET
Leading 16-15 in the second set, Harding went on a 9-3 run to win 25-18. Harding had 13 kills and forced nine attack errors in the set.
THIRD SET
The third set stayed close throughout. Leading 22-20, Harding went a 3-1 run to win the set 25-21. Harding had 14 kills and hit .333 in the set.

- Zoe Hardin led Harding with 10 kills and five blocks.
- Taylor Lake led the defense with 17 digs.
- Harding had six service aces in the set with Lake having three and Katherine Cowart had two.
Southern Arkansas
- Rylea Brimhall had eight kills to lead Southern Arkansas.
- The Lady Muleriders had 24 attack errors and hit .031 in the match. It was the ninth time this season Harding has held its opponent to hitting under .100.
