WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The Harding volleyball team fell to Southwestern Oklahoma 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20) Friday in Great American Conference action.
It was Harding's first conference loss of the season.
The loss also snapped an eight-game winning streak.
The Lady Bisons fall to 12-7 overall and 7-1 in the GAC.
Southwestern Oklahoma improves to 14-4 overall and 7-1 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding jumped out to a 6-3 lead in the first set until Southwestern Oklahoma went on a 6-0 run to lead 9-6. The Lady Bisons pulled within one 22-21 but the teams exchanged points until the Bulldogs won 25-23. Harding had 19 kills in the set with eight hitting errors.
SECOND SET
Southwestern Oklahoma took a 15-6 lead in the second set. The Bulldogs won the set 25-18. Southwestern Oklahoma held Harding to hitting .023 with only seven kills.
THIRD SET
Harding took a 9-3 lead in the third set until Southwestern Oklahoma tied the set at 12. The Lady Bisons answered back with a 4-1 run and held on to the lead the rest of the way as they won 25-23. Harding had 19 kills and hit .314 in the set.
FOURTH SET
Trailing 6-4 in the fourth set, Harding went on a 7-1 run to lead 11-7. Southwestern Oklahoma answered back with a 7-0 run to lead 17-13. The Bulldogs went on to win the set 25-20. Southwestern Oklahoma held Harding to hitting .073 in the set and forced eight Lady Bison attack errors.

- Madison Poen led Harding with 18 kills and tied a career-high with 21 digs.
- Zoe Hardin had 13 kills and four blocks.
- Emma Reeves had 12 kills.
- Rachel Heussner captured a double-double with 48 assists and a career-high 19 digs.
- Taylor Lake tied a season-high with 32 digs. Katherine Cowart had a career-high 21 digs.
- Harding had 111 digs in the match which was the seventh most all-time in school history.
Southwestern Oklahoma
- Emily Holm and Danusia Sipa Borgeau each had 11 kills for Southwestern Oklahoma.
- Kaitlyn Dillon had 36 digs and Allie Hoang had 23 digs.
- Southwestern Oklahoma had 114 digs in the match.
