Today's Harding Sports Headlines

Track and field opens the day at Rhodes College in Memphis. On the first day of competition, Harding's women broke school records in the 4x800-meter relay and the weight throw. Harding's team of Alicja Minczuk, Madison Drennan, Melita Sutherland and Kinga Szarzynska combined to run 9:11.36 and win by 18 seconds. Freshman Liz Fouts recorded the record mark of 139 feet 8 inches in the weight throw.
Competition continues today with all eyes on Harding freshman Nehemia Too, an indoor All-American in the 3,000 meters, making his outdoor debut in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Harding's tennis teams host Northwest Missouri State of the NCAA Division II Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
The Lady Bisons are 9-3 and looking to bounce back from a 6-3 loss at Henderson State on Wednesday. The Bisons are 7-5 and have won four straight. Northwest Missouri's women are 4-5 but have won their last three. Northwest Missouri's men are 3-5 and have won their last two.
Harding baseball won the first game of a three-game series Friday and looks to take the series Saturday in a doubleheader.
Harding softball split two games with Oklahoma Baptist Friday in Shawnee, falling 3-2 in the opener before winning game two 7-0. The series concludes today with another doubleheader.
