SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team won its seventh straight match Friday defeating East Central 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-16) in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
Harding stays perfect in the GAC with a 6-0 record. The last time the Lady Bisons started league play 6-0 was in 2013.
Harding improves to 11-6 overall.
East Central falls to 0-18 overall and 0-6 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Harding opened the first set with an 11-2 run. The Lady Bisons went on to win 25-15. Harding forced East Central to eight hitting errors in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding took a 7-1 lead in the second and went on to win 25-11. Harding had 16 kills and held East Central to hitting .049.
THIRD SET
With the third set tied at 12, Harding went on a 4-0 run on two kills and two service aces. After East Central scored the next two points, the Lady Bisons went on a 9-2 run to win the set 25-16. Harding had 17 kills in the set and hit .385.

- Zoe Hardin had 14 kills and hit .500 in the match with one attack error. She also had seven blocks.
- Rachel Heussner picked up the double-double with 33 assists and 10 digs.
- Taylor Lake led the defense with 13 digs.
- Harding had six service aces.
East Central
- Audra Jonas led East Central with seven kills.
- Kasey Beeler led the defense with 13 digs.
