Batesville, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team swept Lyon 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-13) Tuesday in non-conference action.
Harding has won six straight matches all in straight sets.
Harding improves to 14-6 overall and Lyon falls to 14-12 overall.
FIRST SET
Harding got off to a quick start behind two kills each from Logan Smith and Kelli McKinnon to lead 6-1. After building their lead to 18-11, Lyon scored the next six points to pull within one at 18-17, forcing a Lady Bisons timeout. Harding responded by scoring seven of the next eight points to win the set 25-18. The Lady Bisons hit .324 in the set while holding Lyon to just .098.
SECOND SET
Trailing 12-11 in the second set, Harding went on a 7-2 run to take an 18-14 lead. The Lady Bisons finished the set by winning seven of the last ten points to take the set 25-19. Harding had 15 kills in the set and were led by Logan Smith and Kelli McKinnon who both had four kills.
THIRD SET
Harding used another good start to jump out to an early 9-3 lead in the third set. Leading 16-11, the Lady Bisons finished the set on a 9-2 run to take the third set 25-13. Harding hit .444 in the set with 14 kills and 2 errors. Seven different Harding players got a kill in the set, with Logan Smith leading with four kills.

- Southeastern Oklahoma hit .157 in the match with 17 attack errors.
