BETHANY, Okla. – The Harding volleyball team fell at Southern Nazarene 3-1 (25-17, 16-25, 27-25, 27-25) Saturday in Great American Conference action.
Harding falls to 15-9 overall and 6-5 in the GAC.
Southern Nazarene improves to 17-8 overall and 7-4 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Southern Nazarene jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the first set on four kills and two service aces. Trailing 10-6, Harding went on a 4-0 run on two blocks to tie the set at 10. Leading 14-13, the Crimson Storm went on an 8-2 run to lead 22-15. Southern Nazarene had a kill and a service ace to win the set 25-17.
SECOND SET
Leading 3-2 in the second set, Harding went on a 6-0 run on three kills and an ace to lead 9-2. Harding extended its lead midway through the set. Leading 13-10, the Lady Bisons went on a 11-3 run to lead 24-13. A kill by Kelli McKinnon gave Harding the set, 25-16.
THIRD SET
Trailing 20-14, Harding battled back on a 7-2 run to pull within one, 22-21. Tied at 25, Southern Nazarene had a kill and forced a Harding attack error to win the set 27-25.
FOURTH SET
Trailing 15-9 in the fourth set, Harding went on a 4-0 run on three kills to trail 15-13. Harding took a 23-22 lead in the set but the Crimson Storm quickly took a 24-23 lead. A Harding kill tied the set at 24. With the set tied at 25, Southern Nazarene had back-to-back kills to win the set 27-25.

- Harding had 56 kills in the match with three players finishing in double-figures. Logan Smith led Harding with 18 kills and a season-high 23 digs. Libby Hinton had 16 kills and four blocks. Ally Stoner had 10 kills.
- Arika Johnson had a career-high 41 assists and 12 digs for Harding.
Southern Nazarene
- Southern Nazarene was led by Bailee Turang who had 15 kills and 15 digs.
- Bailey Grimes had 12 kills and hit .417 for the Crimson Storm.
- Kylie Smith had 50 assists and 17 digs.
