WEATHERFORD, Okla..– The Harding women's soccer team fell 3-1 at Southwestern Oklahoma Thursday in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Tournament.
Harding ends its season with a 7-10-2 overall record.
Southwestern Oklahoma improves to 12-4-3 overall and advances to play for the GAC Tournament Championship against Oklahoma Baptist Saturday at 11 a.m.
GOALS
Harding 1, Southwestern Okla. 0 – 21st minute – Nicole Morgan found of the back of the net off on a goal mouth scramble. It was her fourth goal of the season.
Southwestern Okla. 1, Harding 1 – 26th minute – Claire Torry found Sandra Nabweteme for her 21st goal of the season.
Southwestern Okla. 2, Harding 1 – 67th minute – Hannah Burks found the back of the net. It was her third goal of the season.
Southwestern Okla. 3, Harding 1 – 71st minute – Hannah Burks took corner kick that found the head of Hannah Dahl for the goal. It was her first goal of the season.
STATS
Southwestern Oklahoma took 15 shots, four were on goal. Sandra Nabweteme had three shots to lead the Bulldogs.
Harding took 10 shots, four were on goal. Amelia Lewis had two shots, both were on goal.
Jessica Woessner, Kim Barcenas, Jad'n Nichols and Samantha Rupe all played the full 90 minutes for Harding.
