BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The Harding softball team fell to Arkansas Tech 3-0 in the semifinals of the Great American Conference at the Tiger Athletic Complex on Bentonville High School campus.
Harding falls to 35-23 overall and Arkansas Tech improves to 41-13 and will play for the tournament championship Sunday.
Jenna Hipp was named to the GAC All-Tournament Team.
Game One Key Innings (Arkansas Tech 3, Harding 0)
- With the bases loaded and had one out in the sixth inning, Paty Loredo grounded out to first which allowed Sarah Coronado to score from third.
- Arkansas Tech got two insurance runs in the seventh with two outs when Ashton Sangster drove in two when she singled to center field with the bases loaded.

- Arkansas Tech had eight hits led by Gaby Vasquez and Bailey Bunch who each had two.
- Harding had two hits in the game.

- Kristen Dempsey got the win for Arkansas Tech and improves to 14-13 on the season. She through seven innings and had two strikeouts.
- Jenna Hipp received the loss and falls to 17-7 on the season. Hipp threw five scoreless innings and had two strikeouts.
- Emma Dwyer came in and pitched a 1/3 of inning in relief for Harding.
