HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team fell to No. 1 seed and GAC Regular Season Champions Oklahoma Baptist 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-17) Friday in the semifinals of the Great American Conference Tournament at Bank OZK Arena.
The loss snapped a six-match winning streak.
Harding ends its season with a 17-9 overall record.
Oklahoma Baptist, who is ranked 23rd in NCAA Division II, improves to 23-3 overall and will face Arkansas Tech in the Tournament finals Saturday.
FIRST SET
Leading 6-4 in the first set, Oklahoma Baptist went on a 6-0 run on two kills to lead 12-4. Harding battled back with a 12-3 run on eight kills to tie the set at 17. Leading 21-20, Oklahoma Baptist went on a 4-1 run to win the set 25-21. Each team had 16 kills in the set. Logan Smith led both teams with five kills.
SECOND SET
Trailing 7-6 in the third set, Oklahoma Baptist went on a 13-3 run on 10 kills to lead 19-10. Harding fought back to pull within three 19-16 but Oklahoma Baptist won the set 25-19. Oklahoma Baptist had 18 kills in the set and held Harding to hitting .094.
THIRD SET
Trailing 10-8 in the third set, Harding went on a 3-0 run on three straight kills to lead 11-10. Oklahoma Baptist answered back with a 5-0 run to lead 15-11. Harding battled back to cut the lead to one, 17-16 but Oklahoma Baptist closed the set on an 8-1 run to win 25-17.

- Harding was led by Logan Smith who captured her ninth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 12 digs.
- Sarah Morehead also captured a double-double with 24 assists and 18 digs.
- Harding had 82 digs in the match. Emma Winiger also had 17 digs, Amber Robin had 14 digs and Kinley Schnell had 10.
Oklahoma Baptist
- Oklahoma Baptist had 45 kills, 16 attack errors and hit .191.
- Malia Leatherland and Avery Hellmuth each had 11 kills for Oklahoma Baptist.
- Diana Carranza led the defense with 27 digs.
