ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team lost the first set but won the next three to defeat Ouachita Baptist 3-1 (19-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-15) Tuesday in Great American Conference action.
With the win, Harding sealed a spot in the GAC Tournament held Nov. 18-20 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Lady Bisons will be fighting for seeding the rest of the regular season.
Harding improves to 13-8 overall and 9-4 in the GAC.
Ouachita Baptist falls to 8-18 overall and 3-10 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Ouachita Baptist jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first set and held on to win the set 25-19. The Tigers hit .237 in the set and forced 10 Harding attack errors.
SECOND SET
Harding answered back in the second set as it jumped out to a 7-0 lead on five kills. Ouachita Baptist pulled with six 15-9 but the Lady Bisons went on a 10-2 run to win the set 25-11. Harding had 13 kills on one attack error and hit .375 in the set. The Lady Bisons held the Tigers to six kills and hitting -.065.
THIRD SET
Ouachita Baptist took a 9-1 lead in the third set until Harding went on a 9-2 run to trail 11-10. Trailing 20-16, the Lady Bisons went on a 9-0 run on seven kills to win the set 25-20. Harding had 15 kills and hit .205. Ouachita Baptist had eight attack errors and hit .061 in the set.
FOURTH SET
Trailing 13-8, Harding went on a 17-2 run on seven kills to win the set 25-15. Harding had 10 kills, had 21 digs and hit .152 in the set. Ouachita Baptist had eight attack errors and four service errors in the set.

- Ally Stoner led the Lady Bisons with 12 kills. Skyler McKinnon also had 10 kills.
- Sarah Morehead captured a double-double with 36 assists and 10 digs.

- Harding had nine blocks in the match led by Sarah Morehead and Libby Hinton who each had four.

- EJ Day led the Tigers with 10 kills.
- Ouachita Baptist had 72 digs led by Lexie Castillow who had 23 digs.
