SEARCY, Ark. – The Harding women's soccer team tied East Central 1-1 Thursday night in Great American Conference action at the Stevens Soccer Complex.

Before the game, Harding recognized seniors Samantha Rupe, Parker Smitherman, Grace Ann Green, Emma Roberts and Kelson Miller for their contributions to the Lady Bison soccer program.

It was Harding's final regular season game of the season. The Lady Bisons end their season with a 6-10-2 overall record and a 4-6-2 GAC record.

East Central moves to 3-10-2 overall and 2-7-2 in the GAC.

GOALS

East Central 1, Harding 0 – 65th minute – Olivia Witte sent a throughball up the left side that found Ashley VanSchuyver for her third goal of the season.

East Central 1, Harding 1 – 86th minute – Melissa Ventura sent a cross in that found Lauren Service who headed the ball into the goal. It was her third goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took 24 shots, 11 were on goal. Emma Roberts led the Lady Bisons with nine shots.

East Central took eight shots, three were on goal.

Payton Milby played the full game for Harding in goal and had two saves.

Samantha Rupe and Grace Anne Green each played the full 110 minutes for Harding.

The Lady Bisons had six shots in overtime.
