ALVA, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team defeated East Central 3-1 Saturday in Great American Conference action.

Harding improves to 2-1-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the GAC.

East Central falls to 1-5-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the GAC.

GOALS

Harding 1, East Central 0 – 15th minute – Grace Ann Green found Emma Welch for her first goal of the season.

Harding 1, East Central 1 – 20th minute – Tanja Baubock found the back of the net for her third goal of the season.

Harding 2, East Central 1 – 42nd minute – McKenna Moore found the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Harding 3, East Central 1 – 57 minute – Briley-Anna Brown found Melissa Ventura for the first goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took 18 shots, nine were on goal. Emma Welch had five shots, three were on goal.

East Central took 18 shots, five were on goal.

Bethanie Dixon had four saves for Harding and played the full 90 minutes in goal.
