RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding softball team dropped a doubleheader at Arkansas Tech Tuesday. Arkansas Tech won the first game 3-1, which was the third game in the three-game Great American Conference series. The second game was a non-conference game in which the Golden Suns won 2-1 in eight innings.
Harding won the first two games of the GAC series in Searcy earlier this season. The Lady Bisons won 1-0 and 4-2.
Harding falls to 19-8 overall and 12-6 in the GAC.
Arkansas Tech improves to 14-13 overall and 12-7 in the GAC.

- B2 – Brooke Prewitt hit a solo home run to left field (Arkansas Tech 1, Harding 0)

- Maddy Prough got the win for Arkansas Tech pitching 2 2/3 innings of relief. She had two strikeouts against eight batters faced.
- Lily Tanski received the loss for Harding and falls to 13-4 on the season. She pitched six innings, gave up three earned runs and struck out five.

- Harding had five hits all by different players.
- Maddy Prough got the win for Arkansas Tech and improves to 4-4 on the season. She pitched three innings of relief and had a strikeout.
- Jessica Bridges received the loss for Harding and falls to 5-3. She pitched 7 2/3 innings and a season-high seven strikeouts.
