TYLER, Texas – The Harding volleyball team found itself down 2-0 against St. Edward's. The Lady Bisons battled back to win the next three sets to win 3-2 (15-25, 19-25, 27-25, 25-20, 15-12).

Libby Hinton and Skyler McKinnon were named to the All-Tournament team.

Harding improves to 4-3 on the season.

St. Edward's falls to 5-2.

FIRST SET

St. Edward's jumped out to a 17-5 lead and went on to win the set 25-15. Harding was held to only six kills, five attack errors and hit .033. St. Edward's had four kills and hit .312 in the set.

SECOND SET

Harding kept it close in the second set until St. Edward's went on a 3-0 run on three kills to lead 7-4. The Lady Bisons got within two 8-6 until St. Edward's went on an 8-2 run to lead 16-8. St. Edward's went on to win the set 25-19. St. Edward's had 17 kills and held Harding to hitting .081.

THIRD SET

Trailing 22-20 in the third set, Harding tied the set at 22 after a kill and an attack error. With match point on the line, 24-23, the Lady Bisons had a big block by Chloe Ingersoll and Kelli McKinnon to tie the set. With the set tied again at 25, Harding had back-to-back kills to win the set 27-25. Skyler McKinnon led the Lady Bisons with six kills in the set. Chloe Ingersoll had five.

FOURTH SET

Trailing 4-1 in the four set, Harding went on a 9-1 run to lead 10-5. St. Edward's tried to battle back but Harding went on to win the set 25-20. Harding had 16 kills and 12 digs in the set and forced six St. Edward's attack errors.

FIFTH SET

With the fifth set tied at six, Harding went on a 3-0 on two kills to lead 9-6. St. Edward's didn't get any closer than three the rest of the way as Harding won the set 15-11. Harding had 10 kills and 17 digs in the set. Skyler McKinnon had five kills for the Lady Bisons.

-          Skyler McKinnon had a career-high 22 kills for Harding. Chloe Ingersoll had 12 kills and Libby Hinton had 11 kills and four blocks.

-          Sarah Morehead captured a double-double with 47 assists and 13 digs.

-          Emma Winiger led the defense with 17 digs.

-          Harding had nine service aces in the match.

St. Edward's

-          St. Edward's had 66 kills, 27 attack errors and hit .232.

-          St. Edward's had four players in double-figure kills. Caroline Swan led the team with 19 kills.

-          Emily Tran had a double-double with 53 assists and 19 digs.

Harding will open Great American Conference action Tuesday when it travels to Magnolia, Arkansas to take on Southern Arkansas at 6 p.m.
