ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Harding women's soccer team fell 1-0 Thursday at Ouachita Baptist to open Great American Conference play.

It was Harding's first road game in five games.

Harding falls to 2-5-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the GAC.

Ouachita Baptist improves to 4-1-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the GAC.

GOALS

Ouachita Baptist 1, Harding 0 – 21st minute – Gracen Turner found Jamie Fowler for her second goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took 17 shots, seven were on goal. Briley-Anne Brown led Harding with four shots, two were on goal.

Ouachita Baptist took 13 shots, five were on goal. Josilyn Kispert led the Tigers with four shots, three were on goal.

Michaela Potter played the full 90 minutes in goal for Harding and had four saves. Hattie Hinkle, Samantha Rupe and Grace Ann Green all played for the 90 minutes for the Lady Bisons.

Harding will head to Oklahoma next week to take on Oklahoma Baptist next Thursday and Southern Nazarene next Saturday.
