SHAWNEE, Okla. – Briley-Anne Brown found the back of the net 17 seconds into the game but the Lady Bisons couldn't hold off Oklahoma Baptist as they went on to win 3-1 in Great American Conference action.

Brown's goal was the fastest goal in program history. It was the third time a Lady Bison has scored under a minute into the game. Candace O'Neal held the record of 35 seconds set in 1998 at Southwestern Oklahoma. Harding won that game 5-2. Kellie DeAtley scored 36 seconds into the game at North Alabama in 2006. Harding won that game 4-0.

Harding falls to 1-9-3 overall and 0-5-2 in the GAC.

Oklahoma Baptist improves to 5-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the GAC.

Harding 1, Oklahoma Baptist 0 – 1st minute – Melissa Ventura found Briley-Anne Brown for her first goal of the season. It was also Ventura's first assist of the season.

Oklahoma Baptist 1, Harding 1 – 30th minute – Katie Fowler scored her seventh goal of the season.

Oklahoma Baptist 2, Harding 1 – 40th minute – Katie Fowler found the back of the net again for her eighth goal of the season.

Oklahoma Baptist 3, Harding 1 – 87th minute – Fowler found Jadynn Daggs for her first goal of the season.

STATS

Harding took three shots, all were on goal and by different players.

Oklahoma Baptist took 20 shots, nine were on goal. Katie Fowler led the team with seven shots.

Michaela Potter played the second half in goal for Harding and made four saves.
