SHAWNEE, Okla. – Briley-Anne Brown found the back of the net 17 seconds into the game but the Lady Bisons couldn't hold off Oklahoma Baptist as they went on to win 3-1 in Great American Conference action.
Brown's goal was the fastest goal in program history. It was the third time a Lady Bison has scored under a minute into the game. Candace O'Neal held the record of 35 seconds set in 1998 at Southwestern Oklahoma. Harding won that game 5-2. Kellie DeAtley scored 36 seconds into the game at North Alabama in 2006. Harding won that game 4-0.
Harding falls to 1-9-3 overall and 0-5-2 in the GAC.
Oklahoma Baptist improves to 5-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the GAC.
