Harding Men Win Four Events in Kansas

WICHITA, Kansas – Harding men's indoor track and field turned in four event victories and six NCAA provisional marks Saturday at the 2022 OBU/GAC Last Chance Indoor.

Sophomore Dakarai Bush won the 60-meter hurdles, freshman Antiwain Jones won the high jump, senior Austin Parrish won the pole vault and senior Matt Hipshire won the heptathlon.

Bush won with a PR and provisional time of 8.07 seconds. He ranks 18th in Division II in the 60-meter hurdles.

Jones cleared 2.00 meters (6-6.75) to win the high jump.

Four Harding athletes reached provisional marks in the pole vault. Parrish won with a season-best height of 5.09m (16-8.25) and ranks sixth in Division II. Alex Hindman was second at 4.94m (16-2.50), Kylor Aguilar was third at 4.89m (16-0.5) and Dorian Chaigneau, the NCAA Division II leader, was fifth at 4.84m (15-10.5).

Hipshire won the heptathlon with a provisional 4,892 points. He ranks 32nd in Division II.

The NCAA will release its list of athletes who qualified for NCAA Indoor Nationals this week.
