Chaigneau, Parrish Earn First Team All-America at Indoor Nationals; Aguilar Second Team

PITTSBURG, Kansas – All three of Harding's pole vaulters entered in the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships earned All-America honors Saturday at the Robert W. Plaster Center.

Sophomore Dorian Chaigneau led the Bisons with a four-place finish. He equaled a season best by clearing 5.25 meters (17 feet, 2.75 inches). Chaigneau earned his second career indoor All-American honor after winning the national championship last season.

Senior Austin Parrish also earned First Team All-America honors with a seventh-place finish. He cleared a career-best 5.15 meters (16-10.75), topping his previous best of 5.09 meters earlier this season at Wichita State.

Freshman Kylor Aguilar earned Second Team All-America with a 12th-place finish. He cleared 4.95 meters (16-2.75).

Ryan Stanley, a junior from Fort Hays State, won the event, clearing 5.42 meters (17-9.25).

Harding has now earned 10 All-America honors in the indoor pole vault – Perry Fraley (1979), Mike Lynch (1979, 1980), Jimmy Sloan (1989, 1991), Ed Van der Kaaij (1986), Chaigneau (2021, 2022), Parrish (2022) and Aguilar (2022).
