The No. 47-ranked Harding women's tennis team ended their seven-match homestand with a 7-0 victory over McKendree on Sunday (March 27) at the Elliott Tennis Complex. Harding went 6-1 during their homestand and improved to 12-4 on the season while McKendree fell to 4-5.

The Lady Bisons battled in doubles action, but eventually came away with a 1-0 lead.
Emily Carpenter and
Allison Jenkins cruised to a 6-2 win at No. 3 and grabbed their fourth win of the season. After the Bearcats won at No. 2, the Lady Bisons looked to
Allison Carpenter and
Grace Dodd to secure the point. After falling behind 1-4, the No. 36-ranked doubles team of Carpenter and Dodd won the final five games to take the set 6-4.

Emily Carpenter won her third straight match 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 to push the lead to 2-0.
Jing Jing Yang battled through a tight first set before sailing to a 7-5, 6-1 victory at No. 4.
Lina Romero fell behind 1-4 early in the first set but won the next 11 games to win 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1. The win was Romero's third straight and clinched the match for the Lady Bisons.

Rachel McCrae and
Joee Crocker made their season debuts in a dual match at No. 5 and No. 6 on Sunday. McCrae won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 and Crocker won 7-6, 6-0 at No. 6. In the final singles match,
Romane Britt won her team-leading 18
th match of the season in a match tiebreaker, 6-3, 4-6, 10-3 at No. 2.

The Lady Bisons will hit the road next weekend when they travel to Springfield, Missouri to take on Washburn at a neutral site on Sunday (April 3) at 12 p.m.
