SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team tied Southwest Baptist 1-1 in non-conference action at the Stevens Soccer Complex Friday.

Harding moves to 0-0-1 on the season.

GOALS

Southwest Baptist 1, Harding 0 – 18th minute – Sam Short found the back of the net for her first goal of the season.

Harding 1, Southwest Baptist 1 – 55th minute – Melissa Ventura dribbled down the left side and found the upper right part of the net for her first career goal.

STATS

Harding took 16 shots, seven were on goal. Caitlann Potter and Sophie Capitanelli each had two shots on goal.

Southwest Baptist took six shots, five were on goal. All five shots on goal were by different players.

Mimi Herring played the full 90 minutes for her.
