MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team came away with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-6, 25-18) Great American Conference win Thursday at Arkansas-Monticello. With the win, the Lady Bisons moved their winning streak to 13 matches.
Harding improves to 15-1 on the season and is 5-0 in GAC action.
Arkansas-Monticello falls to 7-9 overall and 3-2 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Tied at nine in the first set, Harding put the set out of reach with an 11-3 run on five kills to lead 20-12. The Lady Bisons went on to win 25-17. Harding had 16 kills in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding kept rolling in the second set jumping out to a 12-1 lead on eight kills. The Lady Bisons only allowed Arkansas-Monticello to score six points in the set as they won 25-6. Harding had 17 kills and no attack errors in the set to hit .654.
THIRD SET
Harding took a 12-6 lead before Arkansas-Monticello battled back to tie the set at 12. The Lady Bisons answered back with a 7-1 run on four kills to lead 19-13. Harding went on to win the set 25-18. Each team had 12 kills in the set.

Harding will take a break from GAC action next Tuesday when it hosts Drury in the Lady Bisons final non-conference match of the season. First serve at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House is scheduled for 6 p.m.
