SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team opened the Harding Invitational Thursday with a 3-0 (25-8, 25-5, 25-9) sweep of LeMoyne-Owen at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House. It is the seventh straight win for the Lady Bisons.
Harding set a new school record hitting .500 in the match. The Lady Bisons had 50 kills, eight attack errors on 84 attempts.
Harding improves to 9-1 on the season and LeMoyne-Owen falls to 0-7.
FIRST SET
Harding opened the match with a 6-0 start in the first set on four kills. The Lady Bisons went on to win the set 25-8. LeMoyne-Owen didn't have a kill in the set.
SECOND SET
Harding carried its momentum into the second set winning 25-5. The Lady Bisons had 16 kills and hit .481.
THIRD SET
Harding jumped out to a 18-4 lead in the third set and went on to win 25-9. The Lady Bisons had 18 kills, one attack error and hit .531 in the set.

- Nine different Harding players had a kill in the match. Skyler McKinnon and Chloe Ingersoll led the Lady Bisons with each having 10 kills.
- Avery Hall got her first start at setter and had a career-high 44 assists in the match.
- Harding had a season-high 13 service aces. It was the seventh most aces in a three-set match in Harding history.
- Emma Winiger led the Harding defense with 12 digs.
LeMoyne-Owen
- LeMoyne-Owen had seven kills and hit -.052 in the match.
- Kaylyn Howard led the defense with nine digs.
