Walling Earns Third Straight First Team All-GAC Honor; HU Places Third at GAC Championship

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Harding junior Luke Walling placed eighth Saturday at the Great American Conference Championships and led the Bisons to a third-place finish among the seven-team field.

Harding finished with 75 points and trailed only East Central (15) and Oklahoma Baptist (74).

Walling finished the 8K race in 24:48.77 and earned his third straight First Team All-GAC honor.

All five of Harding's scoring runners earned All-GAC by placing in the top 20. Second Team honorees included Arnaud des Boscs (12th, 25:19.47), Zach Reed (17th, 25:37.91), Matt Ingalsbe (18th, 25:41.11) and Nate Perry (20th, 25:47.45).

Harding's next action is at the NCAA Central Region Meet in Joplin, Missouri, on Nov. 4.
