DURANT, Okla. – The fourth-ranked Harding Bisons rushed for 436 yards and seven touchdowns and the defense forced five turnovers, including four interceptions, in a 55-0 Great American Conference victory over Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday at Paul Laird Field.
The victory was Harding's 13th straight, tied for the longest in program history, and moved the Bisons to 9-0 overall and in conference action. It was the largest margin of victory and the first shutout in the 34 meetings between the teams. It was Harding's third shutout of the season, the first time since 1965 the Bisons had three shutouts in the same season.
Harding scored on five of its six first half possessions and forced three turnovers to lead 31-0 at halftime.
The Bisons had four different players rush for TD with Braden Jay scoring on a 29-yard run, Blake Delacruz carrying it in from 6 yards out, and Chauncey Martin notching a 5-yard scoring run, all in the first quarter.
Cole Keylon scored on a 1-yard TD run in the second quarter with Grant Ennis ending the first half scoring with a season-best 41-yard field goal as time expired.
Ty Dugger had two interceptions in the first half and took the team lead with three for the season. Dre Hall forced a fumble on a sack, and Clark Griffin recovered to set up Ennis' late field goal.
Harding outgained Southeastern 254-93 in the first two quarters.
Keylon added a 4-yard TD and Will Fitzhugh scored from 26 yards out in the third quarter to give the Bisons a 45-0 lead entering the fourth.
Malik Mays and Troy Wiseman had Harding's third and fourth interceptions in the second half.
Ennis kicked a 28-yard field and Martin wrapped up the scoring with a 28-yard fourth quarter TD run.
Harding's defense held Southeastern to only 45 rushing yards and 96 passing yards.
TEAM NOTES
- With four interceptions Saturday, Harding has 18 for the season, the most since the 2016 team had 19 interceptions ... 12 different Harding players have at least one interception.
- Harding last won 13 straight games from Sept. 3-Dec. 3, 2016 ... Harding is 9-0 for the second time in program history, also in 2016.
- Harding scored on 17 straight second half drives before its turnover in the third quarter ... Harding's opponents have scored on only three of their last 29 second half drives.

- Braden Jay led Harding in rushing for the third straight game, carrying six times for 70 yards and a TD ... has a TD in four straight games ... also completed a 27-yard pass.
- Cole Keylon rushed for 61 yards on nine carries with two TD ... surpassed 1,000 career rushing yards ... first career game with multiple rushing TD.
- Blake Delacruz rushed for 54 yards and one TD ... has a rushing TD in seven straight games ... has 16 rushing TD this season, sixth-most in an HU single season and the most since Cole Chancey rushed for 24 in 2021 ... moved into HU career top 20 in rushing with 1,638 yards (19th).
- Chauncey Martin rushed for 54 yards and two TD, his second career multi-TD game.
- Will Fitzhugh scored his 15th career rushing TD on a 26-yard run.
- Grant Ennis made both field goal attempts and all seven of his extra points ... surpassed 200 made extra points in his career (he is the only active D2 player with more than 200 made extra points) ... has 29 career field goals made, good for sixth at Harding.
- Clark Griffin led Harding with 10 tackles, his third game this season with 10 or more tackles and the fourth of his two-year career ... also had his third career fumble recovery.
- Zach Strickland led Harding with two tackles for loss.
- Devonte Manning had a sack, his first solo sack of the season.
- Dre Hall had a forced fumble on a sack ... leads the team with 6.5 sacks ... second forced fumble of the season and fourth of his career.
- Ty Dugger had his second and third interceptions of the season ... he was the first Bison with multiple interceptions in the same game this season and the first since Cade Pugh had two vs. Northwestern Oklahoma in 2022.
- Malik Mays had his first interception of the season and second of his career ... Troy Wiseman had his first interception as a Bison.
