SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team defeated East Central 1-0 Saturday in Great American Conference action at the Stevens Soccer Complex.
Harding ends its season with a 4-8-6 overall record and a 2-5-5 GAC record.
East Central ends its season with a 1-12-5 overall record and a 1-6-5 GAC record.
GOALS
Harding 1, East Central 0 – 74th minute – In a goal mouth scramble, Caitlann Potter sent in a ball from the six-yard box that was deflected to Kendall Jerkins who found the back of the net. It was her first collegiate goal.
STATS
Harding took 19 shots, seven were on goal. Harding took 13 shots in the first half. Whitey Thomas led the team with five shots.
East Central took 12 shots, six were on goal. Abbie Morris led the Tigers with four shots.
Michaela Potter and Maysa Willis each played goalkeeper for Harding. Potter made six saves in the game.
