The Harding women's tennis team battled with Arkansas Tech on Tuesday afternoon at the Elliott Tennis Complex, before eventually falling 5-2 on Senior Day. The Lady Bisons are now 8-13 on the season and 2-2 in conference. Arkansas Tech is now 10-6 overall and 3-0 in conference action. 

The Lady Bions fell behind 1-0 after doubles action, which saw them lose at No. 2 and No. 3. Grace Dodd and Georgia Plunkett grabbed the 6-2 victory at No. 1 to improve the duo to 4-2 on the season, all matches coming at the No. 1 line. 

After the Golden Suns moved ahead 2-0, the Lady Bisons grabbed two wins to level the match at 2-2. Senior Ashley Nilsson picked up her 25th career victory, winning 6-2, 5-7, 6-1 at No. 6. Senior Rachel McCrae won her second straight match at No. 5, grabbing the straight sets victory 6-4, 6-3. 

The Golden Suns took the final three matches to push the final score to 5-2. 

The Lady Bisons will play their regular season finale on Friday (April 14) in Durant, Oklahoma at Southeastern Oklahoma State, beginning at 11 a.m.
