ALVA, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team struck first but couldn't maintain their lead against Northwestern Oklahoma, resulting in a 1-1 tie on Saturday in Great American Conference action.
Harding now holds a 2-4-4 overall record and a 0-1-3 standing in the GAC, while Northwestern Oklahoma stands at 1-4-5 overall and 0-1-3 in the GAC.
GOAL
Harding 1, Northwestern Okla. 0 – 32nd minute – Bailey Bulliner found Natalie Gomez who scored her first colligate goal.
Northwestern Okla. 1, Harding 1 – Lily Anderson found the back of the net for her first goal of the season.
STATS
Harding took a game-high 13 shots, eight were on goal. Natalie Gomez, Regan Thompson and Whitney Thomas each had two shots for the Lady Bisons.
Northwestern Oklahoma took eight shots, seven were on goal. Isabella Mcmillan led the Rangers with three shots, all were on goal.
Maysa Willis played the full 90 minutes in goal for Harding and had six saves.
