Lady Bisons Sweep Crimson Storm: Harding Blanks Southern Nazarene 3-0

BETHANY, Okla. — Harding cruised to a 3-0 victory over Southern Nazarene in a Great American Conference volleyball match Thursday at the Sawyer Center.

The Lady Bisons (15-7, 8-2 GAC) remained in second place in the conference standings, securing their eighth shutout victory of the season with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-17.

Jacie Lambert led Harding's balanced attack with 12 kills, while Skyler McKinnon added 11 and Ashley Lamkin and Delaney Garner chipped in with 10 apiece. Olivia Wiedower facilitated the offense with 42 assists and contributed six kills and nine digs.

Tatum Fouche paced the Lady Bisons' defense with 21 digs, and Maddie Burrough added a season-high 15 digs.

The win marked Harding's fourth consecutive victory over Southern Nazarene and its seventh in the last eight meetings between the teams.

Harding took the opening set 25-17 against Southern Nazarene in Thursday's Great American Conference volleyball match.

The Lady Bisons jumped out to an 11-5 lead, fueled by Olivia Wiedower's precise setting and Jacie Lambert's powerful hitting. Lambert recorded four kills during a 6-0 Harding run, which included two service aces by Wiedower.

Wiedower finished the set with 12 assists, while Lambert led the Lady Bisons with six kills. Tatum Fouche contributed seven digs for Harding.

Set 2
Harding dominated the second set, cruising to a 25-15 victory over Southern Nazarene.

The Lady Bisons took control early, building a 10-4 lead behind Olivia Wiedower's pinpoint setting and Jacie Lambert's powerful hitting. Lambert recorded six kills in the set, while Wiedower contributed 12 assists.

Ashley Lamkin added five kills for Harding, while Skyler McKinnon chipped in with four. Tatum Fouche contributed seven digs for the Lady Bisons.

Harding's balanced attack and stifling defense proved too much for Southern Nazarene, as the Lady Bisons took a commanding 2-0 lead in the match.

Harding sealed the sweep with a convincing 25-17 victory in the third set against Southern Nazarene.

The Lady Bisons took control early, building a 13-7 lead behind Ashley Lamkin's precise hitting and Olivia Wiedower's exceptional setting. Harding's balanced attack proved too much for Southern Nazarene, as four Lady Bisons recorded multiple kills in the set.

Jacie Lambert led Harding with five kills, while Lamkin and Delaney Garner added four apiece. Skyler McKinnon chipped in with three kills.
