Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Bulliner Brings Lady Bisons Back from the Brink

SEARCY, Ark. — Harding women's soccer rallied from an early deficit to stun Southern Nazarene 2-1 on Wednesday, thanks to a late-game surge from Bailey Bulliner and Calle Citty.

Bella Morgas put Southern Nazarene ahead in the 31st minute, capitalizing on a stolen ball in the Harding end and scoring on a rebound. Morgas led the Crimson Storm with four shots, all on goal.

Harding's offense gained momentum in the second half, with 13 shots compared to Southern Nazarene's three. The Lady Bisons' persistence paid off in the 83rd minute, when Bulliner tapped the ball to Citty amidst a chaotic goalmouth scramble following a corner kick. Citty slotted home from just outside the 6-yard box, leveling the match.

Bulliner sealed the victory with a clinical finish in the 90th minute, receiving a through ball from Carmen Dunn and firing past goalkeeper Gianna Bonnett from the left side of the box. Bulliner logged just 36 minutes, but made the most of her time, scoring once and assisting on Citty's equalizer. It was her first career goal and second assist.

Harding outshot Southern Nazarene 20-9, with seven shots on goal. Goalkeeper Maysa Willis made seven saves to secure the win.

The victory was the second straight for the Lady Bisons and boosts Harding's record to 3-5-1 (2-1-1), while Southern Nazarene falls to 4-4-1 (2-2-0).

Harding next plays Saturday against Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The game begins at noon.
