The Harding men's golf team had their best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting a 10-over 298 in Round 3 to finish the tournament at 45-over 909 and in seventh place. Midwestern State held on for the win, finishing at 19-over 883. 

Sam Tandy also had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting 1-over 73 with two birdies and 13 pars to finish tied for 14th at 7-over 223. Dennis Staykov finished with a 5-over 77 and tied for 28th at 13-over 229. Jose Garcia finished tied for 32nd at 14-over 230. 

Jose Peralta put together the best round of the tournament by a Bison on Tuesday, shooting a 1-under 71. Peralta sank four birdies in his round along with 12 pars on his way to a tie for 35th finish. Leo Maciejek finished tied for 49th at 20-over 236. Wilmer Haakansson was the lone individual Bison to compete, and shot a 4-over 76 and finished in 82nd.  

The Bisons will return to action on March 25-26 in the Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado.

RANKING UPDATE: Harding received 25.45 points for its tournament finish at the Houston Classic and has a 19.96 points average for the season. The Bisons moved up to 50th in Division II and sixth in the Central Region.
