The Harding women's tennis team bounced back on Friday morning with a 5-2 win over Missouri-St. Louis at the Elliott Tennis Complex. The Lady Bisons improved to 11-6 on the season and have an additional three wins against junior colleges. 

In doubles action, Grace Dodd and Sofia Sarmiento Ruiz opened the match with a 6-0 victory at No. 3. The win was the duo's third consecutive win together. Karli Roux and Romane Britt clinched the point with their 12th win of the season. Roux and Britt are now 7-3 on the year at the No. 1 line. 

Madison Stafford pushed the Lady Bison lead to 2-0 with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6. Roux picked up her 12th win of the year, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2. Alexia Zarate Valdez clinched the victory for the Lady Bisons, winning 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3. Sarmiento Ruiz picked up her team leading 15th win of the season in a tiebreaker, 2-6, 7-5, 10-5. 

The Lady Bisons return to GAC action on April 9 when they host Henderson State, beginning at 1 p.m.
