RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Senior first basemen Jordan Cabana was named Great American Conference player of the week. It is her first career player of the week honor.

Cabana led the Lady Bisons over No. 21 Southern Arkansas this past weekend. She went 6-9 at the plate with two runs scored, three RBI's and a home run. Cabana also had a stolen base.

This season, Cabana is leading Harding at the plate hitting .480 with 24 hits, two triples, two home runs and 14 RBI's.

Harding will be back in action this weekend when it hosts Arkansas-Monticello in a three-game series for its home opener. The Lady Bisons opened their season with five straight weeks on the road. Harding has a 10-9 record and a 2-4 GAC record.
