The Harding men's golf team shot a 3-under 285 on Tuesday at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot to grab their first tournament win of the season at the Natural State Golf Classic, finishing at 22-under 842, ten strokes better than Southern Arkansas who finished second.

Leo Maciejek sank 14 pars in his round on Tuesday and picked up his first top-5 finish and second top-10 finish of the season as he finished tied for second at 7-under 209. Sam Tandy also finished tied for second as he shot a 1-over 73 on Tuesday. It was the sixth time this season Tandy has finished in the top-5. 

Jose Arzu shot an even 72 in Round 3 and finished tied for 7th, his third top-10 finish, at 4-under 212. Dennis Staykov finished the tournament with his best round, shooting a 3-under 69 to finish in 11th at even 216. Staykov's round included eight birdies. Jose Peralta finished tied for 13th at 2-over 218. 

Finlay Cummings led the way for the Bisons individuals, also finishing tied for 13th at 2-over 218. Wilf Rush shot a 15-over 231 and placed tied for 25th.

Harding finished the tournament with 67 birdies, 20 more than Southern Arkansas. 

The Bisons will look to make it back to back tournament titles next week as they compete in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the GAC Championships.
