SEARCY – Harding softball player Macy Ham was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Central Region first team Monday.
Ham becomes the 11th Harding player to be named to the team. Harding has had a player named to the team in each of the last four seasons.
Macy Ham, a junior from Arrington, Tennessee, led all of the Great American Conference with a .418 batting average. She has racked up 74 hits, and has scored 39 runs. She set a new school record with 37 stolen bases this season.
It is Ham's second All-Region award this season. She was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association second-team All-Central region.
Ham will move on to the D2CCA All-American ballot.
D2CCA All-Region is voted on by regional Sports Information Directors.
