Sam Tandy Named PING First Team All-America

SEARCY – Harding senior golfer Sam Tandy received the second PING All-America honor of his career Thursday. He received First Team honors this season after landing on the Third Team last season.

Tandy, a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, had a team-best and school-record 70.14 stroke average this season and is Harding's career leader with a 72.24 average. In 2023-24, Tandy had 11 top-10 finishes in 12 events, including third-place finishes at both the GAC Championship and Central/Midwest Super Regional and a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Division II national championship.

Scoreboard, powered by clippd, the official scoring system for collegiate golf, has Tandy ranked as the No. 1 player in the Central Region and the No. 8 player in Division II.

Tandy is the first Harding golfer ever to earn All-America twice.
