PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Harding University Lady Bisons volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Washburn University on Friday, losing 25-21, 25-13, 25-21 at John Lance Arena.
Harding (5-5) struggled to find its rhythm against the Ichabods (8-1), who dominated the match with strong blocking and defensive efforts.
Washburn's Jalyn Stevenson and Austin Broadie paced the Ichabods with 10 kills each. Corinna McMullen had 18 assists.
The Lady Bisons hit .093 as a team, while Washburn posted a .284 hitting percentage.
Harding will look to regroup in its next match, Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11:30 a.m. against Illinois-Springfield.
