Harding Men's Tennis Dominates Nebraska-Kearney 6-1

SEARCY, Ark. — Harding men's tennis snapped a five-match losing streak to Nebraska-Kearney, defeating the Lopers 6-1 on Friday at the Elliott Tennis Center.

The Bisons' victory marked their first win over UNK since their initial meeting in 2000.

Harding's Cas de Ruiter, ranked No. 4, led the charge with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Adrian Constantin in singles competition. Cian Mikkelsen, Caleb Folse, Edoardo D'Arrigo and Florian Gayme also secured singles victories for the Bisons. D'Arrigo's win was his seventh consecutive singles victory.

In doubles competition, Harding's Gayme and Mikkelsen, along with the duo of Folse and D'Arrigo, earned wins to give the Bisons the doubles point for the sixth time in eight matches this season.

The Bisons improved to 5-3 on the season, while Nebraska-Kearney fell to 5-7.

Harding will host Mississippi College on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Elliott Tennis Center.
