ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — The Harding men's track and field team competed at the Ouachita Invitational on Thursday.
The Bisons earned a pair of top-three finishes in the sprints, with Jaxon Hardy taking third in both the 100 meters (10.91 seconds) and the 200 meters (22.31 seconds).
In distance events, Aidan Bailey led the Bisons with a second-place finish in the 5000 meters, crossing the line in 15:16.19. Kyle Oakes added a seventh-place finish in the same event (15:27.12).
Chad Strickland earned a runner-up finish in the pole vault, clearing 4.30 meters (14 feet, 1.25 inches).
In the throwing events, Gatlin Lundy led the Bisons with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (13.04 meters) and a sixth-place finish in the discus (41.18 meters).
