SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The 16th-ranked Harding men's tennis team shut out St. Mary's (TX) 6-0 on Wednesday at the Rohrbach Tennis Stadium.
The Bisons (10-4) swept the doubles competition, with Cas de Ruiter and Adrian Solorzano, ranked 17th nationally, defeating Leonardo Fabbri and Louis Hein 6-3.
In singles, de Ruiter, ranked 10th nationally, outlasted Fabbri 7-5, 3-6, 6-0 at the top spot. Solorzano, ranked 20th, edged Lu Castillo Sanchez 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (7-4) in another closely contested match.
Caleb Folse, Luis Agullo and Edoardo D'Arrigo also picked up singles wins for Harding.
St. Mary's fell to 5-5 on the season.
