SEARCY – For the 11th straight week the Harding softball team was ranked in this week's National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Division II Poll. The Lady Bisons were No. 23.

Harding and Southern Arkansas (No. 9) are the only Great American Conference team in the poll.

The Lady Bisons have been ranked 21st, 17th twice, 16th, 15th, 13th twice, 10th twice and 19th.

The Lady Bisons are 36-14 with wins over No. 12 Mississippi College, No. 7 Augustana, No. 23 McKendree and No. 17 Rogers State.

As a team this season, Harding is hitting .318 with 429 hits, 54 doubles and 26 homeruns. The pitching staff also has a 1.99 ERA and opponents are hitting .217.

The Lady Bisons will be back in action this weekend when it hosts Northwestern Oklahoma in a three-game GAC series. First pitch is scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m.
