MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The 10th-ranked Harding softball team fell to 17th-ranked Southern Arkansas 4-0 Sunday in Great American Conference action.

The game was scheduled to be played in Searcy but was moved to the home field of Southern Arkansas due to the amount of rain that fell in Searcy.

Harding falls to 33-6 overall and 17-4 in the GAC.

Southern Arkansas improves to 30-5 overall and 20-1 in the GAC.

The Muleriders broke through in the second inning, scoring a run on a Harding error.

The Muleriders added three more runs in the seventh inning, courtesy of Regan Dillon's three-run home run.

Harding was held to three hits in the game. The Lady Bisons left five runners on base.

Brooklyn Gobble took the loss for Harding and falls to 14-2 overall. She only allowed three hits and had seven strikeouts.

Brinson Rogers got the win for Southern Arkansas to improve to 21-2 overall. She had nine strikeouts.

The two teams will wrap up their series Monday with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
