SEARCY - In the third week of the season, the Great American Conference recognized Harding's Magnus Lepak as the Special Teams Player of the Week. It was Lepak's second career Player of the Week award. He also won on Sept. 9, 2024.
Lepak, a junior kicker from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was instrumental in the Bisons' 31-12 road win against Southern Arkansas. He was perfect on four extra-point attempts and nailed a 33-yard field goal.
In addition to his scoring, Lepak also made his presence known on kickoffs, with three of his six kicks resulting in touchbacks. So far this season, Lepak has been flawless, making all 17 of his extra-point tries. Of his 20 kickoffs, an impressive 12 have been touchbacks.
