SEARCY, Ark. – Following a weekend that saw school records fall and national leaderboards reshuffled, Harding seniors Savian Bush and Yves Bilong have swept the Great American Conference Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced Tuesday.

Bush was named the GAC Track Athlete of the Week, while Bilong earned Field Athlete of the Week recognition. The awards come on the heels of the Stallion Transportation Bryan Phillips Open held April 10-11 at First Security Stadium.

A senior from Tatum, Texas, Bush delivered the fastest 110-meter hurdles performance in NCAA Division II this season. His time of 13.59 seconds secured a personal best and shattered the previous Harding school record. Bush also showcased his range by placing second in the 400-meter hurdles (53.34) and anchoring the Bisons' 4x400-meter relay team to a victory. The relay's time of 3:10.02 currently ranks ninth in the nation.

Bilong, a senior from Saint-Gilles, France, continued his dominance in the sand pits by breaking his own school record in the triple jump. His winning mark of 16.20 meters (53 feet, 1.75 inches) came on his second attempt of the competition.

With the leap, Bilong became the first competitor in Division II to clear the 16-meter mark this season. It also represents the best triple jump mark in the division prior to the NCAA Championships since the 2023 season.

The Bisons have now claimed 14 weekly honors from the GAC this season. All conference weekly awards are selected by a three-person committee.

Harding, currently ranked No. 6 in the USTFCCCA National Rankings, will look to build on this momentum as they head into the final weeks of the regular season.
