SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding Lady Bisons will enter the postseason as a top-10 team in the region and a top-60 program nationally, according to the latest Scoreboard by Clippd rankings released Wednesday.
Ranked No. 60 in NCAA Division II, the Lady Bisons are gearing up for the Great American Conference Championship, which begins Monday in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harding is currently the No. 9 ranked team in the Central Region and holds a 92-35-2 head-to-head record this season.
Individual Leaders
The Lady Bisons' postseason push is led by a veteran core that has produced two under-par rounds in the last week.
-
Pilar Martinez: The senior leads the team with a national ranking of No. 190.
-
Sydney Kincade: Ranked No. 223, Kincade is coming off a record-tying 71 at the Spring Region Preview.
-
Madeleine Wilson: Ranked No. 278, Wilson fired a career-low 71 in her most recent round to secure a top-five individual finish.
-
Vivian Volion: The freshman enters her first postseason ranked No. 434.
GAC Championship Preview
The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at Stone Creek at Page Belcher Golf Course from April 13–15.
Harding enters as one of the four "teams to beat" in a top-heavy conference field. The Lady Bisons will have to navigate a GAC lineup that features three teams ranked inside the top 50:
-
Arkansas Tech (#31)
-
Southwestern Oklahoma State (#46)
-
Henderson State (#50)
-
Harding (#60)
Chasing the Crown
History is on the line for head coach Samuel Tandy's squad. The Lady Bisons have finished as the GAC runner-up in each of the last three seasons (2023, 2024, and 2025).
Harding is searching for its first conference title since winning back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. Following last year's second-place finish—where the team posted a three-round total of 914—the Lady Bisons are leaning on the momentum of Wilson and Kincade to finally bridge the gap to the top of the podium.
