RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — The Harding women's volleyball team rolled to a sweep in Great American Conference action Friday night, defeating Arkansas Tech 3-0 at Tucker Coliseum.
The Lady Bisons captured the victory with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-20.
Melaina Haines powered the Harding attack, putting down a match-high 14 kills while hitting .440 across the three sets. The outside hitter added 11 digs to complete a double-double performance.
Philomina Klotz provided strong efficiency at the net, registering nine kills on 21 attacks with just two errors (.333 hitting percentage).
Setter Olivia Wiedower orchestrated the Lady Bisons' offense, recording 30 assists, nine digs, and three kills on five attempts without an error.
Defensively, Mallory Weyand led Harding with 13 digs.
The Lady Bisons continue GAC play Thursday, Oct. 1, on the road against Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Oklahoma. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
