• Had three tackles and recovered two fumbles vs. Missouri Southern (8/29), becoming only the second Bison since 2000 with two fumble recoveries in a game (Travis DeSisso, 2004 vs. Henderson State).

• Played in all 11 games, starting the final 10 ... 89 tackles, 6.5 TFL, 1.0 sack, 2 PBU, 2 FF.
• Ranked second on the team with 89 tackles ... ranked fifth in the GSC and tied for 93rd in NCAA II with 8.09 tackles per game ... had 10 or more tackles three times, including a season-high 14 at Valdosta State (10/18) ... had 13 tackles at Arkansas Tech (11/8) and 10 at Henderson State (11/1).
• Had four tackles, including 2.0 TFL, and a forced fumble at Southwest Baptist (9/13).
• Ranked third on the team with seven special-teams tackles, three on kickoffs and four on punts.

2007

• Played in all 10 games as a reserve linebacker and special-teams player ... 34 tackles, 3.0 TFL, 1 PBU ... third the team lead with six special-teams tackles, five on kickoff returns and one on punt returns.
• Had at least one tackle in every game and collected a season-high seven tackles vs. Ouachita Baptist (11/10).

Previous School

• Started for two seasons as a linebacker for coach Randall Hugg at Daingerfield High School in Daingerfield, Texas … two-time all-conference … all-state senior year … also played baseball.
