Harding University Athletics

Michal Giboney is in her sixth season as assistant volleyball coach at Harding University.

Prior to coming to Harding, Giboney started the volleyball program at Lubbock Cooper HS and coached there one season before moving to Lubbock Christian High School for three years.

Giboney played four seasons at Lubbock Christian University as a right-side hitter and setter. She held the career digs record at LCU and was named an Academic All-American. Giboney will be honored by LCU this season as part of its 30th anniversary of the school's volleyball program.

Giboney earned a bachelor's degree from Lubbock Christian in 1994 and a master's of education from Harding in 2001.

Keith and Michal Giboney have two children--Emily, 14, and Abbey, 11.
