• Had a season-high 14 tackles, forced a fumble and returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown vs. Henderson State (10/31) ... earned GSC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts ... only defensive TD scored by Harding in 2009.
• Had 11 tackles in the season finale vs. Arkansas Tech (11/7) ... had five tackles, 1.0 TFL and a interception returned for 12 yards at Ouachita Baptist (10/10).

Previous School

• An honorable mention all-state linebacker at Pleasant Grove High School ... led the team with 131 tackles and earned All-Northeast Texas and First-Team All-District 16-3A honors as a linebacker ... coached by Kevin Davis.
• First-Team all-district as a running back.
• As a junior, he was also all-district and all-area and set a school record with 165 tackles.
• A regional qualifier on Pleasant Grove's 4x400 and 4x200 meter relay teams and also a powerlifter.
