Mollie Mitchell

Mollie Mitchell will be in her second season with the Harding softball program and her first as the assistant coach. In 2014, Mitchell served as the team's graduate assistant.

Mitchell works with Harding's pitchers and catchers and also directs the team's strength and conditioning program.

Mitchell started all but one game in her four seasons as a catcher at Lipscomb University and was unanimous 1st Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference in 2010 and 2nd Team All-ASC in 2009. That season she was also unanimously named to the conference's All-Freshman Team. As a senior in 2012, she made the A-Sun All-Tournament Team.

Mitchell was a four-time member of the A-Sun All-Academic Team and was a graduate assistant last season at Lipscomb, where she helped lead the team to a second-place finish in the Atlantic Sun.

In 2012, Mitchell received her B.S. in health and physical education, and she is earning her master's degree at Harding in secondary education with a focus in kinesiology.

A native of Florence, Ala., Mitchell graduated from Greater Atlanta Chrstian School. Her parents are Mike and Lou Ann Mitchell, and she has two brothers, Brett and Jake, and a sister, Ann Marie.
